2018 KME Predator

The "New Predator" chassis has been developed by working closely with fire departments across the nation; KME has developed this "next generation" chassis that provides safety, ergonomics, reliability, ease of maintenance, and a full range of options. As a true sole-source builder, KME assures that the cabs of all Predators share the same fully crash-tested cab structure. While safety comes standard, the KME Predator boasts a wide range of options for power trains, seating and storage needs, and apparatus budgets. If you're looking for reliable safety and limitless customization, then explore the KME Predator chassis family - the ideal foundation for our full line of custom apparatus.

Production of the KME Predator begins on a lifetime-warrantied set of frame rails and cross members, custom drilled to your unique specifications. Configurations include 4x2, 6x4 and 4x4 and 6x6, so your apparatus is ready for your terrain.

The Predator interior defines the word "custom" in custom chassis. Multiple interiors are offered in design and material options. Electrical system options are also offered in the form of either a multi-plex or hard-wired system.

Predator chassis offer a full range of horsepower options ranging from 300-600 hp. The air cleaner is cleanly packaged in the engine enclosure, located at least 48" from the ground to eliminate flooding concerns caused by low mounted air filter inlet locations.
